TOPSEY MASON

I became determined to enter the Physiotherapy profession many years ago after being lucky enough to work alongside a fantastic Physiotherapist and acupuncturist during my career as a professional equestrian event rider – with all the injuries that entailed!!

Fast forward 30 years and I am privileged to bring a wealth of experience and skills to the clinic - combining extensive knowledge in Physiotherapy and Acupuncture with up to date clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
I qualified in 1996 from Kings College London with a BSc Hons Physiotherapy and have completed courses in acupuncture, dry needling, clinical pilates and a further Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy at Auckland University of Technology in 2015, followed by a Post Grad Cert in Health Science Acupuncture in 2020.
I have worked in a wide range of Sporting, Clinical and Health Education settings including Bournemouth Football Club UK, London Irish Rugby, Bath Marathon Club, New Zealand Lacrosse, Occupational health and Hospital healthcare delivery.
I love the variety of our local community – from the elite athlete, retired farmer, young mum, college student to the keen walker or gardener - and enjoy getting people back on track, maximising their potential and achieving their individual goals.

Β LYNDA RANGITAAWA

I was born and raised in Te Awamutu and love living in this awesome town. I have gone through all my schooling locally before then moving to Auckland to study physio at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT). I graduated in December 2017 with my Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) and moved back home to work at SOAR Physio in January of 2018. I have been working in this clinic ever since and now as it has transitioned to Vigour Physio, Te Awamutu, I am proud to continue being part of this clinic.

I have worked as a physiotherapist for both Pirongia Rugby and Te Awamutu Sports Rugby in 2018.  In 2018 and 2019 I was also the physiotherapist for the Te Awamutu College clinic. I have worked alongside the Te Awamutu College Premier netball team at their UNISS tournament in 2023. Currently I am working to complete my Postgraduate Diploma in MSK Physiotherapy at AUT.

What I love about this job is the variety of conditions and injuries that come through - it never gets boring! However I do particularly like working with sports injuries and helping to rehabilitate someone to return back to their sport, whatever that may be!

In my spare time, I am involved heavily with the local netball competition - I run my netball club, coach and play. I have been playing since I was 7 years old and am very passionate about netball and providing a space for players to thrive as well as enjoy what they are doing.
