TAHERE REHA

Tahere joined the Vigour Physiotherapy team in 2019 after graduating from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia with a Bachelor of Science Physiotherapy (Hons). During his time in Perth, Tahere gained valuable experience training as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist. Tahere is a strong advocate for adopting a holistic approach to working with his patients and is determined to encourage and enable patients along their path to recovery.

Growing up playing Rugby Union, sports and exercise have always been a motivating influence for Tahere. He has had experience working with Palmyra and ARKS Rugby Union Club in Perth’s premier division where he developed his skills in sports injury management and rehabilitation. With the majority of his rugby experience in Australia, Tahere is keen to embrace the style of rugby played in the Waikato region.

Aside from physiotherapy, Tahere enjoys spending quality time with family or finding his way to his roots on the East Coast where he is often by the sea having a dive.

Tahere is very excited to be a part of the Vigour Physiotherapy team and is eager to meet the people of Cambridge.

COURTNEY DEACON

Courtney is a physiotherapist who joined the Vigour Physiotherapy team after graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Waikato Institute of Technology. Originally from Cambridge and raised in a farming community, Courtney is excited to bring her passion for rehabilitation to the South Waikato region.

With a background in sports, including playing netball, rowing, and her love and passion for horses, Courtney has a deep understanding of the physical demands of both sports and everyday life. During her studies, she worked with rugby teams, including the Hautapu U21s, which sparked her enthusiasm for sports injury management and rehabilitation. Whether it’s helping athletes return to the field or supporting people in their daily routines, Courtney is committed to guiding her patients back to optimal health.

Courtney is looking forward to becoming an integral part of the South Waikato community, working alongside Sports teams in Putaruru and providing patient care in the clinic. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her two German Shepherds and horse, as well as staying active and exploring the outdoors.

With a genuine passion for physiotherapy and a hands-on approach, Courtney is eager to support her patients on their journey to recovery and improved wellbeing.

KATE PASCOE

Kate is a local lass, born and breed in the mighty South Waikato. Graduating from AUT in 2007, she has worked in a Private Practice setting in New Zealand, The UK and Australia before the pull to come home brought her back to Putaruru.

During her career, Kate has worked with many sports teams in the region, Waikato NPC netball and age group teams as well as age group rugby and most recently The Putaruru Senior mens Rugby team.

Returning from extended maternity leave, Kate will be working in our Putaruru clinic on Tuesdays and Fridays where she looks forward to seeing some old faces, and many new ones too. She has a keen and extensive interest in clinical pilates, both mat and reformer which correlates well with her physiotherapy rehab.

When Kate is not at work, she can be found helping her husband on the dairy farm, or running around with her three boys Charlie, Zavier and Will.
